The Staff Accountant will play an integral role in our daily financial operations, monthly closing processes, and data-driven reporting cycles. responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly operating results, manage balance sheet and income statement accounts, and prepare standard journal entries.
- Assist with the preparation of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual producer reports in coordination with supply chain management and other internal departments.
- Support efforts to manage and improve accounting workflows by leveraging automation and other digital tools to increase efficiency and improve reporting data quality.
- Serve as an active team member assisting with annual financial audits and monitoring compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Partner with the broader global finance team on account management and process improvements, while occasionally providing data insights to teams like sales, marketing, and business development.
- Support process enhancements and detailed financial analyses aimed at improving accuracy and scalability across accounting operations.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of data models or automation is a plus). Experience with or an interest in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or AI analytics tools is highly desirable.
- CPA license or active plans to work toward one is a plus.
