Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this individual will play a vital role in unifying, managing, and streamlining financial operations across both entities. The ideal candidate is an ambitious accounting professional in the early stage of their leadership career-combining foundational training from public accounting with practical private industry experience.
This is a hands-on role requiring direct execution of month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, paired with strategic exposure to private equity sponsors, board reporting, and executive leadership.

responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day accounting functions across both entities, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and Payroll.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Prepare and publish consolidated and entity-level financial statements in strict accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage treasury and daily cash flow forecasting across both business units.
- Analyze operating and financial results, track KPIs, and deliver actionable insights on key variance drivers to the Group CFO.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for both companies.
- Prepare periodic financial presentation decks for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and IMB Partners.
- Evaluate current accounting systems, workflows, and controls; design and implement scalable process improvements across functional areas.
- Maintain and enhance internal control safeguards to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA strongly preferred (or active candidate on track).
- 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a blend of Public Accounting (audit/assurance) and Private Industry experience.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule combining in-office work in Mechanicsburg, PA with remote flexibility
- Thrives in a roll-up-your-sleeves environment; comfortable shifting seamlessly between tactical accounting tasks and high-level analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to operational stakeholders.
