responsibilities:
- Personally manage general ledger activity, execute month-end/year-end close, and handle banking transactions and wire transfers.
- Own the product costing process and provide the critical financial analysis tools needed to evaluate manufacturing programs, products costing, capital expenditures, and special projects.

- Maintain cash controls, oversee company financial audits, and safeguard assets through robust internal checks.
- Keep us sharp by maintaining ISO 9001 procedures and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Directly oversee day-to-day AP/AR operations, support vendor accounts, and assist with payroll/benefits administration.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our small accounting team-fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred but not required.
- At least 2 years of financial management experience, ideally combining major accounting services with hands-on manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience using manufacturing planning/reporting software systems and advanced spreadsheet/database tools.
- A career history that demonstrates stability (ideally 4+ years with a previous employer) and a proven track record of promotions.
- You are a self-reliant, energetic, and proactive problem solver who can build trust with senior leadership and direct reports alike
