Tatum is seeking a Project Accountant to manage project financial workflows for a 6+ month role. This role handles the core day-to-day project accounting—including AIA billings, WIP schedules, and job costing—while partnering closely with managers to track variances, maintain healthy cash flow, and optimize job profitability.

responsibilities:
• Revenue Recognition: oversight of WIP schedules, Earned Revenue, and Accruals. Manage over/under billings with precision to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting
• Project Administration: Manage the full cycle of AIA billings, pay applications, stored materials, and lien waivers. Ensure compliance across certified payrolls and builder portal requirements
• Job Costing: Oversee job setups, change order impacts, and estimating reconciliations
qualifications:
• Education: BS in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of construction-specific accounting
skills:
• full-cycle accounting, billings, journal entries
