responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of HEOR strategies to support a priority Parkinson's Disease launch asset
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with clinical, medical affairs, market access, regulatory, and commercial teams
- Design and implement real-world evidence (RWE) studies, including retrospective analyses and prospective observational studies
- Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to identify data sources and generate impactful HEOR insights
- Support development of economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact) by guiding strategy and identifying key data inputs
- Communicate research findings clearly to internal stakeholders and governance bodies
- Ensure timely project execution within budget and compliance parameters
- Monitor project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Contribute HEOR expertise to inform US and global market access strategies
- Collaborate with Patient Advocacy Groups and external organizations on post-launch research initiatives
- Provide strategic guidance for publication planning and scientific communications related to HEOR deliverables
qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related field (PhD or Postdoctoral Fellowship strongly preferred)
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, academic, or consulting setting
- Demonstrated success managing and delivering complex HEOR projects independently from design to publication
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in real-world evidence (RWE) generation, including study design, retrospective data analysis, and use of real-world data sources
- Experience supporting the development of economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact)
- Advanced skills in project management, including cross-functional coordination, budget tracking, and timeline management
- Proven ability to clearly communicate complex scientific and economic data to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to guide evidence generation aligned with business needs
- Experience working with observational studies, patient registries, and health outcomes research
- PhD in Health Economics, Epidemiology, or related discipline
- Experience in Parkinson's Disease or neurodegenerative disease therapeutic areas
- Familiarity with market access strategy in both US and global contexts
- Prior collaboration with Patient Advocacy Groups or external research organizations
- Publication experience in peer-reviewed journals and familiarity with medical writing standards
- Proficiency in statistical software and tools (e.g., SAS, R, STATA) for analyzing real-world data
- Understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and payer expectations
- Experience working in a remote or global team environment
