The successful candidate will join the CMC Bio-DS Cell Culture team, contributing to cutting-edge cell therapy development. The primary focus will be on projects involving embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
The candidate will also be involved in some general mammalian cell culture tasks including media/solution prep and mammalian cell culture using bioreactors.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of scientists
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written procedures.
- Cell Culture Operations
- Perform aseptic techniques for culturing iPSCs, ESCs, and CHO cell lines.
- Execute cell thawing, passaging, and harvesting for both cell therapy and mAb production projects.
- Conduct basic analytical tasks, including cell counts and monitoring metabolites and gases during passages.
- Bioreactor Cultures
- Set up bioreactors, perform inoculation, and conduct daily sampling.
- Make necessary adjustments such as feeding and probe calibration.
- Media and Solution Preparation
- Prepare media, feeds, and solutions required for bioreactor cultures.
- Data Management
- Accurately record and transfer experimental data into appropriate databases.
- Lab Maintenance
- Perform daily and monthly lab maintenance activities, including cleaning biological safety cabinets (BSCs) and incubators.
- Conduct daily equipment calibrations to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
- Flexibility
- Availability for weekend and off-hours work as required.

Required:
- Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Proficient in basic aseptic techniques and fundamental laboratory skills (e.g., accurate pipetting).
- Experienced in mammalian cell culture, including work under a laminar flow hood and familiarity with analytical methods related to cell culture.
- Skilled in preparing solutions and media for mammalian cell culture processes.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
