responsibilities:
- Expert Formulation & Batching: Execute the end-to-end formulation process, including batching, filling, and labeling samples for hair care and styling applications.
- Stability & Analytical Testing: Lead comprehensive stability studies and submit critical requests for microbiological, safety, and evaluation testing to ensure product integrity.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor formulation performance, report results with precision, and identify solutions for technical challenges during the development cycle.
- Quality Control & Microscopy: Perform detailed QC measurements and microscopic analysis to maintain the highest standards of product excellence.
- Lab Operations & Safety: Maintain impeccable lab records, review SDS protocols, and adhere to all safety guidelines while operating small-scale lab bench manufacturing kettles.
- Material Management: Manage the compilation of ingredients for reporting and perform light lifting (up to 10kg) of buckets or boxes as required for daily lab operations.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.A. or B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience: 0-3 years of laboratory experience; recent graduates with strong internship backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a collaborative R&D setting.
- Physical: Ability to perform light lifting (up to 10kg) and operate bench-scale manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience in a cosmetic, personal care, or pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with formulation chemistry or surfactants.
- Direct experience with microscopic analysis and QC instrumentation.
