The Quality Microbial Control Analyst will act as a team member of the Quality Microbial Control department to support production of in-process and final product drug lots for customers. Also participate in quality testing for ongoing customer stability studies. Provide on-time, high quality results to meet Manufacturing demands. Applies job skills and company's policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks of increased scope. May be assigned to work on special projects. Also may provide support to others in the absence of the supervisor. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Works on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors

- Conducting Environmental Monitoring (EM) and microbiology tasks
- Sampling within sterile facilities (Grades A and B)
- Writing and managing quality records, investigations, and excursions
- Generating trend reports
- Utilizing quality systems (e.g., TrackWise) to document microbial growth issues
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Sterile Expertise: SME-level experience sampling in Grade A/B environments; must hit the ground running.
- Microbiology/EM: Advanced technical background in Environmental Monitoring.
- Investigations: Proven track record of documenting excursions and investigations in a QMS (e.g., TrackWise).
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or Associate's with exceptional relevant experience).
- Interview Readiness: Must articulately link past technical experience to this role and demonstrate clear interest.
- The "Full Package": Dual proficiency in on-site sampling and office-based technical report writing.
- Local/Relocation: Current Portsmouth residents or those with a concrete, self-funded relocation plan (e.g., local family).
- Entry-level experience (training certificates only or <1 year of sampling).
- Unpreparedness regarding technical work history or Portsmouth's cost of living.
