responsibilities:
- Working Group Coordination: Organize and launch specialized working groups focused on Code Ocean implementation, metadata management, and data storage solutions.
- Project Documentation: Draft and maintain comprehensive timelines, objectives, and deliverables by synthesizing functional and technical input from cross-functional teams.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively develop risk registries and monitor critical dependencies across multiple workstreams to ensure all research milestones are met.
- Meeting Facilitation: Lead working group activities and meetings, ensuring clear documentation of progress and rigorous follow-up on action items.
- Communication Infrastructure: Implement and manage robust communication systems to maintain alignment across workstreams and provide the Strategic Lead with real-time status updates.
- Platform Support: Assist in the tactical integration of bioinformatics data platforms, helping technical teams translate research requirements into actionable plans.
qualifications:
Required Skills
- Direct Tactical PM Experience: 5-7 years of project management experience specifically within a drug discovery or discovery research environment.
- Scientific Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Bioinformatics, OMICS, and R&D discovery processes.
- Data Platform Exposure: Experience working with specialized data platforms such as Code Ocean, Databricks, or similar research-focused environments.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to understand and utilize bioinformatics and data management vocabulary to effectively communicate with technical teams.
- Life Sciences Background: Demonstrated history of managing projects within life sciences data management or data strategy.
- Advanced PM Tools: High proficiency in Smartsheet and Confluence for building and managing project infrastructure.
- Integration Experience: Prior experience specifically with platform integration for AI/ML or advanced analytics.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to bridge the communication gap between technical bioinformatics teams and management.
