We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team on-site. This role is primarily lab-based, providing critical support to our scientists on their day to day activities along with sample preparation, maintaining laboratory standards, organizing the lab, cleaning glassware, receiving chemicals and assisting with a backlog of analytical projects. Must be able to read, understand and follow standard procedures and protocols, safety information on all chemicals and wear proper PPEs

responsibilities:
- Prepare samples for analytical testing according to established procedures and protocols
- Handle, label and track samples throughout the preparation process
- Perform sample weighing, dilutions, extractions and other preparation techniques
- Maintain sample integrity and chain of custody documentation
- Support the lab by organizing the lab area
- Cleaning glassware
- Ordering and receiving standards and chemicals
- Support day to day operations of QC Scientists
- Product Testing: run analytical methods and secondary analysis
- Collaborate and work with Scientists to complete testing on products.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks in consultation with the project team.
- Manage tasks and time to meet development schedules.
- Participate in training colleagues for technical transfer. Work with team and other departments to implement validation and tech transfer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

- Complete Analytical Forms and Batch Records related to projects
- Maintain lab notebooks, logbooks, batch records, and other documentation.
qualifications:
Required:
- Education: High School Degree is required, Bachelors is preferred
- Background in Chemistry or related science
- Technical Skills: Ability to read/understand standard protocols and safety information.
- Compliance: Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety guidelines
- Strong time management, collaboration, and the ability to work effectively under the consultation of a project team
