responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), managing daily 100% onsite pharmacy operations with a focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, local, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Mentor and develop a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establish and manage patient delivery services and coordinate start of care with nurses and physicians.
- Implement quality assurance programs, monitor workflows, and drive performance improvement plans.
qualifications:
Required:
- BSPh or PharmD degree.
- Active, unrestricted Indiana pharmacist license (must hold or be willing to obtain licensure in additional states to support 50-state operations).
- 3-5 years of practical experience in pharmacy operations or a fulfillment environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing direct reports (exempt and non-exempt).
- Strong understanding of pharmacy law, regulatory compliance, and clinical interpretation.
- Experience in high-volume fulfillment, automation, or centralized pharmacy operations.
- Experience presenting to regulatory bodies like Boards of Pharmacy.
- Clinical monitoring experience.
