responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor bench-scale bioreactors using CHO systems.
- Design, execute, and analyze mammalian cell culture experiments independently.
- Track cell culture performance, including cell density, metabolites, and nutrients.
- Maintain rigorous documentation in lab notebooks and author comprehensive technical reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with upstream, downstream, and analytical teams.
- Participate in a shared weekend/on-call rotation (approximately once per month).

- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related scientific field.
- 3+ years of relevant scientific laboratory experience (biotech industry preferred).
- Proven hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture (CHO cells) and bench-scale bioreactors.
- Mastery of strong aseptic techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to design experiments and author technical reports.
- Experience with perfusion systems (continuous culture) and bioreactor control systems (DeltaV/SCADA).
- Familiarity with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) or LIMS.
