responsibilities:
- Technical Authority: Serve as the SME and principal trainer for second-shift automated manufacturing equipment, cold manufacturing, and kit packaging operations.
- Process Troubleshooting: Resolve complex manufacturing process problems, equipment errors, and non-standard production issues using analytical computer tools and ERP systems.
- Quality & Compliance: Lead deviations, quality investigations, and corrective/preventative actions (CAPAs) while authoring and editing critical SOPs.
- Cross-Functional Training: Develop and execute comprehensive training plans for second-shift operators, verifying knowledge transfer and operator competency.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement measurable manufacturing process improvements and share metrics with the leadership team.
qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field with 3-5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing experience, OR an Associate degree with 5-7 years of pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing/quality experience.
- Proven ability to train others through a qualified On-the-Job Training (OJT) process.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment troubleshooting, scale-up, and process optimization.
- Practical working knowledge of computer platforms and ERP inventory systems.
- Ability to work the standard second-shift schedule (Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM) including mandatory overtime as needed.
