Join a top-tier global pharmaceutical leader as a Facilities Mechanical Technician. In this critical role, you will ensure the reliability of essential building, utility, and operations equipment within a high-stakes, 24/7 FDA-regulated environment. You will play a vital part in maintaining HVAC systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and critical site infrastructure. This position follows a night shift schedule (10:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Monday night through Saturday morning).

responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate planned and on-demand maintenance for facility assets and laboratory equipment.
- Lead and optimize routine preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and conduct regular facility walkthroughs to ensure operational reliability.
- Operate and document all activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Monitor and respond to Building Automation System (BAS) alarms to maintain 24/7 site operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, EH&S, and external vendors to mitigate equipment failure and ensure compliance with GxP/GLP/GMP standards.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, Job Hazard Assessments, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe and compliant operations.
qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or operating experience within a Regulated Industry
- Proficient working knowledge of HVAC systems and Fire Prevention Systems.
- Ability to participate in a rotating, on-call schedule for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.
- Technical Certifications or an Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Applied Engineering (or equivalent military/technical training).
- HVAC CFC Certification.
- Relevant Building Operator or General Contractor certifications.
