responsibilities:
- Operate large-scale chemical batch manufacturing equipment, including reactors, pressure filters, and pumps, according to strict SOPs.
- Perform and assist with equipment changeovers, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and confined space protocols.
- Maintain meticulous batch and equipment records in compliance with ISO 13485 and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Collaborate with the team on 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Safely handle materials, including moving ~40 lbs up stairs and pushing 55-gallon drums on wheeled dollies.
qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of chemical or biotech manufacturing, production, or lab experience.
- Proficiency with computer applications and strong basic math/calculation skills.
- Ability to stand for 80% of the shift and wear all required PPE (including respirators when necessary).
- Familiarity with Delta V and/or SAP systems.
