Working within a high-profile quantitative research group, you will integrate large-scale multi-modal omics data to develop predictive frameworks that rank promising drug targets and combination strategies.

responsibilities:
- Ingest, clean, and preprocess multi-modal datasets, including RNA-seq, OMIX, and CRISPR screens.
- Support perturbation analyses and build custom ranking frameworks for target efficacy prediction.
- Execute custom computational workflows leveraging R, Python, and statistical regression models.
- Utilize HPC or cloud environments to perform efficient parallel computing.
- Apply AI/ML fundamentals and leverage LLM-based coding tools to accelerate analysis and workflow development.
- Collaborate with scientific teams to translate complex biological questions into reproducible computational solutions.
qualifications:
- MS degree with 5+ years of experience OR a PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Genetics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong, hands-on coding skills in R or Python (including writing custom statistical and visualization functions).
- Proven experience processing and extracting biological insights from OMIX data and CRISPR screens.
- Demonstrated comfort working within HPC or cloud environments for parallel computing.
- Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals (model selection, training, testing, and cross-validation) and AI tools.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently under tight timelines.
