responsibilities:
- Execute core DNA production workflows, including transformations, sample prep, and culturing.
- Perform sample processing and quality control (QC) testing, and submit samples for sequencing.
- Manage incoming lab requests, coordinate team communications, and track crucial inventory data via LIMS and FreezerPro.
- Operate and maintain advanced automated instruments and liquid handling systems.
qualifications:
Required:
- Hands-on experience in DNA production workflows.
- 2+ years of biotech industry experience (or a Master's degree with relevant lab experience).
- Solid background in molecular biology or biotechnology laboratory environments.
- Ability to thrive and maintain precision in a repetitive, production-focused environment.
- Experience working within a CRO or a high-throughput pharma environment.
- Familiarity with automated liquid handlers (e.g., OpenTrons, Tecan, Biomek, Biotage) or Nanopore sequencing.
