responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic in-person and virtual site visits (2-3 days/week per city) across Durham/Chapel Hill, Charlotte, and Charleston to expand product adoption.
- Engage key institutional stakeholders-including nurses, discharge planners, and pharmacists-within Infectious Disease and Oncology spaces.
- Autonomously execute territory growth goals, manage covered travel/expenses, and log all field activity precisely in Salesforce.
- Partner with a supportive internal team, aligning during weekly Friday calls to optimize regional market penetration.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of total pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Prior experience, within the last 5 years, calling on a combination of major academic medical centers and complex healthcare systems/IDNs within the assigned geographic territory.
- Documented specialty therapeutic sales experience or established connections within complex clinical spaces at target regional institutions.
- Proven ability to learn independently with a track record of driving and carrying out self-started initiatives.
- High proficiency with Salesforce
- Established connections with Directors of Pharmacy and high-specialty clinicians or Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the region.
