A global pharmaceutical leader is seeking a dedicated QC Scientist I to join their 2nd shift team (M-F 3:30 PM -12AM) in Bridgewater, NJ. This is a 100% on-site, 6-month contract role offering an excellent opportunity to utilize your analytical expertise in a fast-paced, cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Perform fit-for-purpose in-line and finished product release testing following strict operating procedures.
- Prepare standards and samples for analysis and operate analytical instrumentation with minimal supervision.
- Document and report all testing data accurately in the LIMS database and laboratory notebooks.
- Assist with out-of-specification (OOS) investigations by conducting and documenting relevant testing.
- Maintain overall laboratory housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the chemistry or biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven proficiency with wet chemistry techniques and basic analytical instruments.
- Hands-on experience with UV-VIS, IR, HPLC, GC, and GC-MS instrumentation.
- Familiarity with compendial testing methods (USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, FCC).
