responsibilities:
- Perform chemical quantitative and qualitative analysis on intravenous solutions, raw materials, and plant water using wet chemistry and instrumental analysis.
- Utilize laboratory instrumentation and computer software to collect, record, complete, and peer-review data.
- Investigate testing deviations, troubleshoot problems, and write formal exception documents.
- Prepare and execute testing protocols and special validation projects in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area using 6S principles and strictly adhere to environmental health and safety regulations.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, or Biology).
- 2-4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated experience with instrumental analysis and quantitative analysis techniques.
- Ability to pass the Ishihara Test for Color Deficiency and meet annual near-vision visual acuity requirements.
- Flexibility to work off-shift hours (including 1st and 3rd shifts) and weekends as needed.
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) experience.
