responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Operations
- Lead a cross-functional team of ~10 internal employees and contractors across Compliance and IT.
- Drive key deliverables, operational benchmarks, and progress reporting for Phase II of Project Compass.
- Act as primary operational liaison between Compliance, IT, and 12 global departments/38 international affiliates.
- Direct proactive communication via Teams and email and manage follow-ups to resolve compliance gaps or delays.
- Audit regional policy/SOP inventories for Biogen Written Standards alignment and eliminate duplicates.
- Manage the transition and site structure of validated written standards into a centralized SharePoint platform.
- Support the configuration and rollout of internal compliance tools (e.g., Ada).
qualifications:
Required:
- Proven track record leading or coordinating cross-functional teams combining IT and business/compliance stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance standards, and written policy/SOP management structures.
- High proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, specifically SharePoint (content migration/site structure) and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience supporting system implementations or software rollouts is a strong plus.
- Diplomatic, precise written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage effectively with global business leaders across diverse cultures.
- Strong follow-up skills with a firm, professional approach to driving accountability and resolving delays. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple spreadsheets and policies inventory.
- Sharp attention to detail when reviewing complex document inventories and detecting discrepancies or redundancies.
