Operating on a B-shift schedule (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM), this role offers a dynamic opportunity to perform critical microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and data review in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

responsibilities:
- Perform environmental monitoring, aseptic sampling, and testing across production areas and microbiology laboratories.
- Conduct routine quality control testing on in-process samples, finished products, raw materials, and components.
- Execute peer reviews of laboratory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and strict cGMP/GLP compliance.
- Assist in authoring laboratory investigations (OOS, OOT, OOL) and update SOPs or analytical methods as required.
- Perform microbial identification activities, including sub-culturing, Gram staining, and automated identification systems.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, coordinate routine calibrations, and assist in training junior personnel.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of progressive microbiology laboratory experience
- Solid working knowledge of cGMPs, GLPs, and compendial testing methods
- Ability to work 100% on-site on a B-shift schedule (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM)
- Strong written, verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Direct experience with MALDI system microbial identification
- Prior experience working within ISO Class 5 gowning environments or sterility testing
