Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: near Dixon, IL (On-Site)

A premier aseptic manufacturing facility near Dixon, IL is seeking a dynamic EHS Manager to lead all site environmental, health, and safety initiatives. In this full-time, first-shift role, you will drive regulatory compliance, champion a proactive safety culture, and proactively mitigate operational risk across the facility.

responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for all site EHS programs, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute safety initiatives, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), and emergency preparedness.
- Oversee workplace incident management, root-cause investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and corrective action implementation.
- Conduct safety audits, hazard evaluations, and risk assessments in partnership with plant leadership.
- Manage emergency response planning and serve as incident commander during critical events.
- Deliver site-wide EHS training, manage safety certifications, and lead safety committee engagement.

Required:
- Minimum 5 years of EHS implementation experience within a manufacturing facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in EHS regulations, governmental standards, and environmental compliance.
- Proven track record of leading safety culture change and managing safety programs.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Business Management, or a related field.
