responsibilities:
- Produce and analyze fluorescent protein-based products to meet customer requirements.
- Purify dye-labeled antibodies and biomolecules using HPLC, FPLC, and gravimetric separation.
- Analyze, interpret, and accurately document scientific data for team evaluation.
- Operate UV-vis spectroscopy equipment and perform precise liquid handling and pipetting.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
- Maintain strict safety standards and safe handling of biological materials and chemicals.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in general chemical/biological laboratory techniques, pipetting, and UV-vis spectroscopy.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/walk periodically for prolonged periods.
- Strong written/verbal communication, time management, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Prior hands-on experience in bioconjugation chemistry.
- Experience operating HPLC and FPLC systems in a fast-paced environment.
