responsibilities:
- Conduct scientific experiments for cell culture media hydration, stock preparation, and routine mammalian cell culture following established procedures.
- Execute experimental designs, troubleshoot scientific tasks, and recommend process modifications to enhance media performance.
- Maintain detailed, accurate laboratory notebooks recording experimental designs and results, and assist in writing project reports.
- Manage daily workload efficiently to meet team deadlines and communicate ideas and results clearly across internal teams.
qualifications:
Required:
- B.S. in Biological Sciences, Biochemical/Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Material Sciences or equivalent experience in a related technical area.
- Hands on experience with aseptic technique.
- Good understanding of biology, biochemistry, and/or cellular metabolism.
- Hands on experience with cell/tissue culture techniques including thawing, subculturing, and freezing.
- Mammalian cell culture, CHO cell experience, or an engineering background.
- Experience in analytical techniques and method development, experiment design, and statistical analysis.
