responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive reviews of clinical trial safety data (labs, vital signs, medications, and medical history) in EDC and safety repository platforms.
- Draft clinical narratives, evaluate adverse events, and conduct quality assurance on data listings.
- Issue and monitor safety-related queries to clinical trial sites to resolve data ambiguities.
- Identify study-level trends and ensure strict adherence to protocol, departmental processes, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH).
- Collaborate with study leads and support Clinical Safety Associates across assigned studies.
qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct bedside/acute clinical healthcare experience in a hospital setting (e.g., ER, ICU, Med-Surg).
- Educational/Licensure pathway: Active RN (BSN required), PharmD (with registered pharmacist experience), or foreign-trained MD/MBBS.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical evaluation skills with standard proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred:
- Prior pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO drug safety/adverse event experience.
- Hands-on experience with EDC/safety platforms such as Rave or Veeva.
