We are seeking an experienced Systems Designer / Analyst III to lead the hands-on design of EDC specifications for impactful clinical studies. Located in Branchburg, NJ (preferred) or near IL offices, this long-term contract role offers potential FTE conversion with a hybrid schedule.

responsibilities:
- Translate complex study requirements and design EDC specifications from scratch to ensure seamless clinical trial execution.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with clinical scientists, monitoring, and statistical teams throughout the study lifecycle.
- Maintain TA- and program-level system design consistency while ensuring compliance with CDISC standards and GCP guidelines.
- Drive on-time delivery of clinical systems, integrations, and protocol modifications using robust project management tools.
- Navigate team dynamics, answer study inquiries, and execute thorough study reviews and closeouts.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 6-7+ years of experience, or Master's/Ph.D. with 3-4+ years of hands-on clinical data strategy experience.
- Expert, hands-on technical study build experience in Medidata Rave.
- Proven experience building EDC specifications from scratch and working with CDASH and SDTM standards.
- Solid working knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Willingness to work hybrid (3 days onsite) upon potential FTE conversion.
- Veeva EDC technical study build experience.
- Phase I-IV therapeutic area support, including specialized experience in aesthetics/eyecare, oncology, immunology, or neurology.
