A E&C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Lubbock, TX area. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and improving machines, structures, or systems by applying engineering principles, evaluating performance, and ensuring quality, reliability, and safety.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of machines, structures, or systems
- Develop functional requirements for engineering projects
- Apply standard engineering principles in daily work
- Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs
- Design and test components, then integrate them into a final product
- Monitor product quality and control process efficiency
- Evaluate the design's effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
- Investigate root causes of failures and recommend improvements to maintain quality
