A Hardware Test Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Charlotte, NC area. This role focuses on the validation and testing of advanced analog and mixed-signal silicon through automated measurements, data analysis, and debugging in a lab environment, contributing to Azure cloud hardware development.

responsibilities:
- Test analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) through electrical measurements.
- Set up hardware and lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
- Develop and automate test scripts using Python, TCL, and PDL.
- Conduct data collection, processing, and characterization of silicon.
- Assist with debugging, especially of digital interfaces like JTAG.
- Collaborate with designers and architects to analyze and resolve design/debug issues.
- Generate final silicon reports and document validation results.
- Ensure work meets technical specifications and project deadlines.
- Participate in remote collaboration using digital tools.
- strong experience in electrical engineering, analog circuits, and power delivery systems.
- Experience with Visual Studio is a plus.
- Must demonstrate stable employment history and hands-on lab skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (required).
- Must have at least 5+ years of Python scripting and lab experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience.
