job summary:
A well-established specialty engineering and construction firm is seeking a Construction Site Project Coordinator to assist with day-to-day operations and compliance tasks for a major gas processing project located in Nederland, TX. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity, onsite only, ideal for candidates local to the area.

This role will provide both general construction admin support and specific assistance to the 45Q Compliance Manager, related to a federal carbon capture tax credit program.

responsibilities:

Support site leadership and field teams with administrative and project coordination functions

Assist the 45Q Compliance Manager with audits, tracking, and enforcement of tax-related documentation

Perform checks and balances to ensure subcontractor compliance with federal 45Q program rules

Create safety reports, update schedules, and monitor man-hours

Interface with clients, subcontractors, and engineering personnel onsite

Manage phone calls, mail, packages, and site documentation

Learn and use project-specific software tools (training provided)

Follow up on identified compliance issues and ensure timely resolution



Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
  
  
• 3+ years' experience in a project assistant, admin, or site coordinator role-preferably in industrial construction
  
  
  
  
• strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  
  
  
  
• Attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving abilities
  
  
  
  
• Skilled in multitasking and time management in fast-paced field environments
  
  
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with databases a plus
  
  
  
  
• Willingness to learn compliance-related rules and systems
  
  
  
  
• Tax knowledge or experience is a plus
