A Senior Pipeline Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Houston, TX area. This Senior Pipeline Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, verifying, and managing offshore pipeline systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting project execution from design through commissioning.

responsibilities:
- Prepare design and installation specifications for offshore pipelines.
- Create pipeline drawings and alignment sheets.
- Conduct pipeline design and installation analyses.
- Verify contractor analyses and installation/intervention plans.
- Prepare specs, data sheets, material requisitions, and bid evaluations.
- Review vendor data, documentation, and drawings.
- Apply standard pipeline engineering methods using independent judgment.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines.
- Provide technical support to pipeline teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving complex regulatory issues with clients and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements.
- Guarantee pipeline design aligns with codes, standards, and industry practices.
- Expertise in offshore pipeline codes, standards, and design criteria.
- Lifecycle interface management with other disciplines and stakeholders.
- Experience leading internal workshops and training.
- Oversight of design consultants and verification of their work.
- Site engineering support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with DNV codes and pipeline analysis software.
- Experience with conventional and trenchless shore crossing designs.
- Field experience on pipeline installation vessels.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (accredited institution).
- 10+ years of relevant offshore pipeline experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (Texas or equivalent).
