Well known industrial equipment manufacturer within the greater Kennewick WA area is in search of a Machinist with a skilled background in welding and fabrication. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with 2+ years of relevant experience with similar types of equipment (motors/gearboxes) within a manufacturing environment.
Company offers an excellent compensation plan ranging from $27 - $37/hr + OT. responsibilities:
- Able to execute experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in laying out, cutting, fitting, and welding with minimal supervision
- Skilled in operating overhead cranes and common fabrication equipment such as shears, saws, punches, and drill presses
- Physically capable, with adequate eyesight, hearing, and hand strength for shop work
- Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Open to limited fieldwork and travel as required by the role
- Willing to learn and perform multiple tasks, including support in other areas of the shop
