responsibilities:
Development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the global Quality Management System. Global compliance of the company's QMS to maintain ISO 9001-2015 certification.
In partnership with Engineering and Product Development, responsible for supporting reliability and quality aspects of new product development process. Focus on integrating tools, techniques, and methodologies of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in new product development programs - with a particular emphasis on:
Past product performance analysis to establish benchmark metrics.
Product reliability analysis in support of the prototype and final design development process.
FMEAs for considering design, assembly, manufacture, and installation for new product introductions.
Process Capability studies and CpK analysis to assess production readiness for new product development programs.
Incorporation of control plans as an integral part of defining product and process characteristics.
Development of globally uniform, processor-friendly specifications.
In partnership with the global Supply Chain and Operations organizations, support and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve both supplier quality and manufacturing quality development and qualification processes.
