Environmental Permitting Coordinator needed in Albuquerque NM. This position will require knowledge of the federal, state, and local permitting requirements associated with the development and construction of electrical distribution, transmission, and substation projects for local utility projects. A related degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.

responsibilities:
- Coordinating with project teams on a variety of tasks, including completion of field surveys, environmental permitting with federal, state, and local agencies, and review of necessary project reports and materials.
- Coordinate with contractors, PMs, and clients regarding project schedule, permit status, and all pre-, current, and post- construction permit and Work Order needs.
- Review process and ensure that compliance and necessary updates are made known to all stakeholders.
- Coordinator must be available when necessary to advise contractors, engineers, and project managers.
- Daily interfacing with various agencies to obtain approvals, submit permit applications, and prepare responses in a timely manner.
- Applying technical and creative solutions to environmental/non environmental permitting.
- Advising clients and team members of appropriate strategies to obtain permits and maintain compliance with regulations and permit conditions.
- Managing work within budget and schedule expectations for each project.
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
