responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight of boiler and HRSG technologies, driving reliability and performance improvements.
- Analyze plant operations and maintenance, recommending system upgrades, modifications, and conversions.
- Prepare accurate budgets, develop equipment specifications, and manage project execution, including outage planning.
- Conduct inspections and document assessments to ensure equipment longevity and operational safety.
- Lead root cause analyses to address repetitive failures and develop solutions for improved performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement mitigation strategies and new system enhancements.
- Develop and deliver training to operations and maintenance teams on boiler and HRSG systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with boilers and HRSGs.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in power plant maintenance, operations, or similar environments.
- Proven leadership experience, including team building and performance management.
- Valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
- Familiarity with high-pressure steam boilers, HRSG systems, and associated components.
