An ESH Representative is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Brownsville, TX area. This role supports the integration and execution of safety and health programs in complex engineering and construction projects through risk assessments, inspections, and stakeholder collaboration, requiring bilingual proficiency and extensive safety expertise.

responsibilities:
- Support execution of the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Program, covering both technical and administrative elements.
- Prepare and implement Safety and Health Management Plans, procedures, and training programs.
- Provide safety and health input to Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, and Commissioning teams.
- Interpret safety requirements and assist with plan development, risk assessments, and program execution.
- Research complex safety issues and regulatory requirements; prepare documentation and reports.
- Support and guide safety studies, audits, and program reviews.
- Participate in emergency response, incident investigations, and resolution efforts.
- Communicate with stakeholders and address safety-related concerns.
- Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors, and team members to align safety expectations.
- Conduct ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards, evaluate controls, and ensure regulatory and project compliance.
- Specialized knowledge in safety disciplines (e.g., PPE, fall protection, excavation) or engineering (e.g., civil, mechanical, process safety).
- strong understanding of safety management principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction workflows and permitting processes.
- Skilled in communication (written and oral) and computer applications.
- Experience performing risk assessments, safety planning, and audits.
