A Lab Technician in the Marshall, MI area is needed for a multinational power management company. This lab technician role supports engineering teams by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to facilitate product development, improvement, and compliance with quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Support engineering in product development through testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct tests and calibrations using appropriate test equipment.
- Assist engineers and team members in completing assigned jobs.
- Perform failure analysis and contribute to product design improvements.
- Maintain and check lab equipment to ensure compliance with standards.
- Support all phases of product development including assembly, testing, cost reduction, and design refinement.
- Provide technical solutions for product-related issues.
- Perform quality measurements and evaluations on electrical/mechanical components.
- Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management Systems.Desie
- Hands-on work with automotive, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with R&D, testing environments, and engineering processes.
- Use of test instruments and troubleshooting electrical components.
- Experience in product evaluation, servicing, and analysis.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in automotive, electrical, mechanical, machining.
