An Inspector is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Katy, TX area. This position ensures product and process quality through inspections, audits, and compliance efforts, leveraging industry standards and measurement tools to support engineering and manufacturing operations.

responsibilities:
- Implements quality inspection standards, methods, and procedures.
- Tests and evaluates product precision, accuracy, and reliability.
- Ensures conformance to internal and external quality standards in production.
- Participates in engineering design reviews to advise on quality requirements.
- Conducts evaluations and audits of internal controls, documentation, and compliance.
- Identifies quality risks and deficiencies and works with departments to resolve them.
- Applies ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949) and quality tools (e.g., Taguchi methods).
- Ensures production processes follow defined quality conditions.
- Manages QA contracts with suppliers, vendors, and partners.
- Uses analytical skills to resolve moderately complex problems.
- Applies professional knowledge of QA concepts, policies, and procedures.
- Works independently within defined policies and procedures.
- Exercises judgment and discretion in quality-related decisions.
