Transmission and Distribution Superintendent needed in Springfield OH to work on a major project for a leading Engineering and Construction firm. The Superintendent will plan, organize, and supervise specific portions of construction work for an assigned area of a construction project. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of relevant experience on Transmission and/or Distribution projects.

responsibilities:
- Supervise high voltage transmission lines, structures, foundations, grounding, and environmental compliance.
- Manage construction activities including safety, productivity, materials use, scheduling, and engineering.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with contracts for T&D construction.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project management to establish procedures and standards.
- Approve purchase requisitions and field design changes under supervision.
- Oversee project safety and review safety documentation regularly.
- Document daily progress with reports and photos.
- Review subcontractors' 3-week look ahead reports and address work concerns.
- Produce record set documents and respond to RFIs with support from Assistant Project Manager or Field Engineer.
- Manage subcontractors to meet project schedule and verify progress.
- Ensure material deliveries meet specifications and oversee storage.
- Coordinate with QA/QC Manager to verify welder qualifications.
- Witness equipment setting and alignment.
- Verify compliance with drawings and specifications during system testing.
- Develop and manage punch lists for compliance and completion.
- Ensure use of current drawing revisions in the field.
- Execute project scope and manage field change orders.
- Supervise craft and project staffing.
- Manage site material and tool management.
- Direct daily construction activities, subcontractors, and compliance with codes and specifications.
- Interpret isometric drawings, structural drawings, and P&IDs accurately.
