Mechanical Support Technician needed for immediate opportunity in the Salem, New Hampshire area. This person will serve as the front line for electro-mechanical assistance working directly with our customers that are seeking service and instruction on our equipment and machinery.
The right person will have exceptional communication skills along with the technical expertise to assist customers in resolving technical issues, and addressing service-related questions quickly and efficiently. This person will have the ability to analyze schematics and provide diagnostic procedures while maintaining rapport striving for customer excellence.
Must have proven computer, phone, and software skills as well as the electro-mechanical mindset to provide proper instruction with a smile.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is a plus!

responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise originating from customer calls, emails, social media, and assistance tickets.
- Gather customer and machine information during each contact
- Troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues, using knowledge gained from training, provided resources, and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Walk customers through basic diagnostics while on the phone or video chat by remotely connecting to a equipment, sharing visual aids with customers, remotlely test hydraulics via pressure tests, test wiring/ electrical by referring to the schematics
- Create & manage documentation for cases for all issues
- Provide proven electro mechanical knowledge of related types of equipment
- Show exceptional communication skills and follow-up with a commitment to excellence
- Have the ability to talk through a technical request and troubleshoot while being remote
- Analyze situations and utilize resources and schematics to provide proper knowledge and direction
- Must have proven computer, phone, and software skills
- Provide a positive approach and outgoing personality, especially with customers with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to speak English and Spanish would be a plus!!
