A Quality Engineer is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Mountainhome, PA area. A Quality Engineer responsible for leading quality control efforts, analyzing root causes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders through proactive and reactive quality assurance processes.

responsibilities:
- Lead escape management processes, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Provide technical quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement product inspection plans.
- Create, review, and approve first article inspections per AS9102 standards.
- Develop and maintain quality evaluation and control systems.
- Participate in Quality Clinic and MRB (Material Review Board) activities.
- Analyze testing and inspection methods to ensure product/process reliability.
- Ensure compliance of projects and documentation with quality standards and contracts.
- Support supplier quality, customer returns (RMAs), warranty, part purges, and MRB.
- Initiate and drive proactive quality strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or
- an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
- AS9100 Experience.
- MRB Experience.
