An I&C Commissioning Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. This role coordinates completions certification and turnover processes across construction and commissioning phases, ensuring system readiness and regulatory compliance through close collaboration with teams, subcontractors, and documentation systems.

responsibilities:
- Oversees certification and turnover/handover processes throughout project lifecycle.
- Interfaces with construction and CSU teams to define turnover requirements.
- Reviews and aligns contractor certification plans with project schedules and milestones.
- Tracks and monitors contractor deliverables related to system completion.
- Develops reports and manages documentation to ensure timely system turnovers.
- Compiles and verifies turnover/handover packages for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintains system lists and technical drawings, updates as directed.
- Administers and inputs data into systems completions databases.
- Sets up the Systems Completion Database with matrices and team input.
- Coordinates with multiple project teams (Construction, CSU, Subcontractors) to resolve package gaps and complete punch lists.
- Prepares and manages system testing and turnover documents (test records, scoped documents, procedures).
- Experience managing subcontract scopes and day-to-day subcontractor oversight.
- Familiarity with precision cleaning and passivation.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards for flushing and testing.
- Experience with cryogenic systems is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years experience or
- 9-12 years relevant work experience without a degree.
