We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join a retail leader. We are seeking candidates who have Bachelors or Masters within Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, PLC programming. Candidates must have a Familiarity with the following programming languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text. PLC Programming on Rockwell Platforms Studio 5000/ RSLogix5000 is a must.
Experience in Programming Material Handling systems like conveyors, sorters, MDRs is highly preferred. Experience must also include Schematics Design in AutoCAD.
This is a 4 month contract that will require 30-40% travel. Company offers flexible working hours with the occasional weekend work. Position ranges from $70-$75/hr. Please apply today!

- Working with multiple cross functional engineers to bring a solution from concept to reality.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate conveyer control solutions, automated material handling equipment, and autonomous vehicles.
- Create and maintain electrical schematic drawings.
- Develop and debug controls system software in ladder logic, ST.
- Ability to provide technical expertise in controls and electrical engineering.
- Perform on-site commissioning support & necessary electrical field wiring when required.
