responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspections according to inspection plans or customer specifications
- Set up and doument inspection plans with correct test settings
- Record and review data for accuracy and maintain QA reports
- Conduct functional and visual product tests, including wall thickness measurements
- Execute destructive testing methods such as drop testing, Bruceton testing, and leak testing
- Write programs for compression strength, capping, and de-capping tests
- Support nonstandard product testing as needed
- Collaborate with packaging and process development teams on QA qualification procedures
- Assist with QA testing and data analysis for new product implementation and pilot samplings
- Write procedures and One Point Lessons for lab test equipment
- Sent QA documentation packages to production facilities as required.
- Maintain and perform internal calibration checks on lab equipment
- Conduct Gage R&R and Mesurement Systems Analysis
- Use measuring devices such as microscopes, depth gauges, height guages, calipers, and optical comparators
- Keep lab area clean, organized, and aligned with 5S Principles
- Support a multi-tasking work environment with organizational and communication skills
- May be required to work occasional overtime
