A Systems Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. The Systems Engineer leads and executes systems engineering processes including requirements, verification, modeling, and stakeholder coordination for NASA projects, ensuring integration and compliance across engineering disciplines and deliverables.

responsibilities:
- Execute systems engineering assignments, including exploration of subject areas and development of innovative approaches.
- Create and manage design documents for government customers.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and clients for requirements management and verification.
- Develop key systems engineering documents, ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
- Represent the company externally, promoting values of leadership, quality, and safety.
- Evaluate and apply standard engineering practices with independent judgment.
- Serve as technical interface with NASA clients for issue resolution and recommendations.
- Define and verify system and facility requirements, including acceptance criteria.
- Support system-level design verification, requirements traceability, and test specifications.
- strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements management principles.
- Experience applying standard engineering methods with independent judgment.
- Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools like CRADLE, DOORS, or Innoslate.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and common software tools.
- Experience with ISO-9000 quality assurance systems.
- INCOSE Certification.
- Knowledge of RAMI/FMECA analysis and efficiency modeling.
- Familiarity with requirements implementation in complex industrial design.
- NASA or government agency project experience.
- Experience in large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contracts.
- Bachelor's in Systems Engineering or related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering) with
- 3+ years of experience OR 9+ years without a degree.
