A Contracts Analyst for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company. Remote work. responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models based on business and competitive market dynamics.
- Conduct competitive pricing research and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor market trends to ensure pricing practices align with company reputation and customer satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to align pricing with product and sales strategies.
- Evaluate monetization and upsell opportunities for products initially offered at low or no cost.
- Project the revenue impact of pricing changes, promotions, and rebate programs.
- Create and manage pricing databases; coordinate pricing proposal implementation across the organization.
- Work independently as an individual contributor, applying professional judgment and expertise with minimal supervision.
- Manage SAP price dispute cases for multiple business units where invoice price discrepancies are reported by customers.
- Investigate and resolve pricing disputes, which may involve validating contracts and activation processes.
- Support Customer Solutions team throughout the price dispute resolution process.
- Collect and analyze dispute-related data using internal systems and databases.
- Provide detailed reporting on volume, root causes, and financial impact (approved/denied amounts).
- Ensure 90% of dispute cases are resolved within a 30-day SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Provide expedited support for escalations and urgent customer requests.
- Train and guide internal stakeholders on pricing processes and systems.
- Support contract audits by supplying required documentation to internal audit teams.
- Continuously assess internal processes and tools to identify and implement improvements.
- Maintain relationships with internal departments such as Contracting, Finance, and Enterprise Account Management (EAM).
- Perform advanced Excel functions and manage large datasets; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Interface with customers, requiring strong communication and soft skills.
