A Senior Principal Engineer is needed for an American multinational healthcare company that primarily focuses on products to treat kidney disease, and other chronic and acute medical conditions, in the Round Lake, IL area. This role requires 5 to 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, leading cross-functional teams through complex technical projects using skills in project management, product lifecycle and change control processes, and advanced engineering tools such as FMEA, DMAIC, and statistical analysis, while generating technical documentation to support new product development and improvements.

responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and completion of large-scale programs or complex small projects.
- Manage projects through Product Lifecycle Management (PDLM) and Change Control Management (CCM) processes, from start to finish.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques for new product development and product improvement.
- Independently plan, schedule, and lead engineering teams across various project phases.
- Leverage interdisciplinary knowledge to enhance product design and development.
- Direct and execute complex engineering assignments with independent judgment.
- Use engineering tools and methodologies such as DMAIC, FMEA, Design of Experiments, and Statistical Analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation to support project requirements and deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (discipline not specified).
- 5-8 years of experience, preferably with a background in leading or managing technical projects.
