A grownig manufacturer in Oklahoma City is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to lead their quality assurance initiatives. This critical role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to internal and external policies, procedures, and standards. The ideal candidate will have excelllent supervisory/management skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations and driving quality improvements.

responsibilities:
- Serve as the Quality Administrator for ISO 9001:2015, ensuring continuous compliance and improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to deliver high-quality products.
- Develop and manage all test documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate products against specifications, perform complex dimensional and visual inspections (first article, in-process, and final), and determine necessary gaging.
- Set up, program, safely operate, and maintain equipment for debug and testing.
- Review material and process certifications for contractual compliance and maintain accurate product and vendor/operation history records.
- Support purchasing and production by formulating quality plans and conducting requirement reviews.
- Develop inspection procedures and reports, and calibrate test measuring equipment.
- Complete vendor audits and address customer needs, as required.
- Create and maintain work instructions, procedures, and equipment documentation.
- Oversee Tool & Gage calibration management.
- Track and report on manufacturing rework costs, customer complaints, and field problems to resolution.
- Report monthly quality metrics to management and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct monthly plant-wide Quality Awareness meetings.
- Supervise, interview, hire, train, and provide performance evaluations and counseling for a small team of quality inspectors.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or a Technical field.
- 5+ years of related Quality Assurance and Electrical/Mechanical Inspection experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- strong supervisory and leadership skills required, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding geometric tolerances.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is desired; however, relevant experience and a desire to obtain CWI certification will be considered.
- Self-directed with the ability to interact effectively with supervisors, engineers, and customers.
- Solid computer and math skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- strong experience with ISO, AWS, ABS, DNV, and Safety Directive Standards within the Industrial Machinery industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of a Quality Management System
- Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled production facility and a climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels within OSHA limits.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Ability to walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate verbally continuously throughout an 8-hour period.
