A Contract Conformance Specialist is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in these Houston, TX or Duluth, MN areas. The Contract Conformance Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of contractual relationships for assigned projects, from sourcing and administration to documentation, compliance, and close-out, to ensure all obligations are met.

responsibilities:
- Manages the flow of documentation and communication between the company and contractors.
- Facilitates the timely identification, communication, and resolution of contractual issues.
- Prepares purchase orders, work releases, and contract exhibits, including scope of work, specifications, and pricing.
- Assists in writing technical contract language.
- Ensures project requirements and contractor clarifications are incorporated into final contract documents.
- Supports project management in contract negotiations.
- Coordinates with the project team to develop a communication plan.
- Reviews contractor-submitted documents and invoices for compliance.
- Maintains logs for correspondence, documentation, and change orders.
- Manages the change order process, from generating directives to preparing approved change orders.
- Establishes and implements project contract document control and retention systems.
- Coordinates contract close-out and prepares contract files for retention.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Oracle.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in legal, engineering, construction, and/or contract administration.
- An Associate's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the same fields.
