Electrical Designer, fully remote opportunity, for someone with industrial power design experience. Using Revit, this role will contribute to the design and specification of electrical systems, producing detailed drawing packages for large-scale industrial power distribution projects. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with experience in medium voltage or greater power design supporting heavy industrial projects.

responsibilities:
- Design electrical and control systems, generating drawings that meet client and industry design requirements.
- Create single-line diagrams, elementary diagrams, power distribution, grounding, lighting, logic, network architecture, and function diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Review sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data to develop accurate design outputs.
- Identify and communicate any scope changes during the design phase and manage design change documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client drafting standards, quality guidelines, and applicable industry codes.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school , or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7+ years related experience
- Expertise in Revit is required
- Experience in medium voltage or greater power design for industrial plant projects
- Basic knowledge of NEC, ISA, NFPA, ANSI, OSHA codes and standards.
- Experience with BIM, PDS EE Raceway, SmartPlant Electrical, or SKM is a plus
